US Lacrosse & Golden Goal Lacrosse Park Seeking Volunteers June 13, 2008

The US Lacrosse U15 National Youth Festival, presented by Warrior, is coming to Golden Goal Lacrosse Park, June 20-22. We are thrilled to have 51 teams representing over 16 different states and Canada, and five hailing from the local Adirondack US Lacrosse Chapter. The Youth Festival remains a celebration of the sport focused on participation and sportsmanship with no champions crowned or all-stars chosen.

We are still looking for willing and capable volunteers to help make the event a success. Applicants must be above the age of 16, and roles may include Table Captains, Greeters or Field Crew - it’s up to you! This is a great opportunity for Juniors and Seniors in high school to complete community service hours.

Our low cost and time effective tournaments continue to offer exposure to college coaches for players who plan to play college lacrosse but who may not get the opportunity to be scouted during the spring season. With interest in lacrosse growing, the network has added the new Pontiac High School LAX Game of the Week presented by Warrior; the first game premieres Sunday, April 1^st at 9:00 a.m. Additionally, the Aéropostale LAX Report will return for a second year Monday, April 9^th at 10:30 p.m. with 10 half-hour episodes.
